Students in France have many options of either staying in University Residence Halls which are publicly owned regional centers that ranges approximately 600€ to 800€, private student residences, shared apartments with other students or friends or living with an elderly resident in France or a French family offering lower rents around 200€(INR 16,960) or even free sometimes when you offer to help them around the house.
TRANSPORTATION AND TRAVEL COSTS
France has an extensive public transportation network that connects various regions and different cities. A monthly pass would be very affordable costing around €30(INR 2535) - 75€(INR 6338) for buses,trams or metros.
But taking a taxi would be much cheaper costing around 2€/km, about
10€(INR 845) for a short journey.
